Lionel Messi again fired Inter Miami to their second win in Leagues Cup, scoring a quick first half brace as Inter Miami saw off Atlanta United, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

After a brilliant and sensational debut for Inter Miami, Lionel Messi was once again the center of the show last night as Inter Miami smashed Atlanta United 4-0 to continue in their winning run after Messi made his debut appearance for the club.

Lionel Messi pulled another astonishing performance as the Florida-based MLS franchise walloped Atlanta United 4-0 at the DRV PNK Stadium.

Lionel Messi opened the scoring for Inter Miami just eight minutes into the game to give the MLS side the lead.

Inter Miami maintained their domineering display after taking the lead and were set to wrap up a big win.

12 minutes after his opening goal, Lionel Messi was on target again in the 22nd minute as Inter Miami extended the lead to 2-0.

Before the first-half break, Inter Miami made it 3-0 as Taylor scored a 44th-minute goal to hand the club a big lead.

Second Half Report

Inter Miami continued to dominate proceedings in the second half and were looking to further extend the lead.

In the 53rd minute, Taylor scored again to put the game beyond Atlanta United and also bagged his own brace.

The match continued with Inter Miami still top of their game and in control of proceedings.

Atlanta United made little efforts on a comeback as Lionel Messi and Taylor powered Inter Miami to a big 4-0 win after the final whistle.

Lionel Messi has now increased his Inter Miami tally to 3 goals in two matches and has led the club to a second successive victory after ending their 13 matches winless run on his debut.
