Bruno Fernandes has blasted Manchester United’s handling of the exit of David De Gea from the club, MySportDab reports.

Taking to his social media handle to react to De Gea’s inglorious Man United exit, Bruno Fernandes said Manchester United would have given David De Gea a more worthwhile farewell ceremony on the field not away from it.

Sharing a picture of himself and David De Gea, he wrote,

“You (De Gea) deserved to say goodbye at the stadium with all the fans cheering you for all the beautiful memories.

“You made history at the club and your name will never be forgotten, and no one can take that away from you.

“All the best for what’s coming for you and your family.”

MySportDab understand David De Gea exited Manchester United following an ill-fated contract renewal talks with Manchester United.

Manchester United wanted to renew David De Gea’s Man United contract but with a reduced wage offer.

De Gea signed the new contract offer but it is understood Manchester United later withdrew the offer and brought a further reduced offer.

With the back-and-forth of the contract renewal saga, it was pretty evident David De Gea will not renew the deal despite running out of contract with the club.

De Gea posted a series of cryptic images on his social media handle related to the ill-fated contract renewal saga before suddenly annoucing his departure from the club yesterday.

He was the longest-serving Man United player having joined the club since 2011 from Atletico Madrid.

While sending his farewell message to De Gea, Bruno Fernandes believes the Spaniard should have at least deserve a proper send forth from the club.

De Gea has been linked to a move to Saudi Arabia with £250,000 weekly wage offer on the table for the legendary goalie.
