The Premier League Champion already sealed a move for Chelsea Mateo Kovacic which cost them about £30 million.
They are now looking to bring in the Moroccan international Hakimi to the club which is in a bid to fortify their team for next season.
They will be playing a lot of game for the new season included the Club World Cup which they have to travel to compete with other teams.
A move could be on the table if Paris Saint Germain are willing to listen to any offers coming in as the player is committed to the team.
Achraf Hakimi remains with PSG as Manchester City will keep doing everything possible to make a deal happen in the window.
