Manchester United are ready to part ways with a number of players this summer with Erik Ten Hag set for a new transfer plan different from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s plan, MySportDab reports.

As per reports, about eight players that were primed by Solskjaer for a new Manchester United will be axed this summer.

Erik Ten wants to restructure Manchester United squad to his plan for a stronger team that will challenge for the Premier League title next season hence most players will hit the exit door this summer.

Sources close to Manchester United have revealed a number of players that was signed and prioritized by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be sold.

Erik Ten Hag is prioritizing a number of key positions to beef up Manchester United squad in the summer.

The attacking options at the beckon of the Dutch tactician has not met his standard.

Also Ten Hag wants more options in the Manchester United midfield, a more younger option to back Casemiro and Christian Eriksen.

With the reinforcements needed in key areas in the squad, the club will let go of some key names in the summer to allow new legs into the team.

As per the Mirror, Dean Henderson is leading Erik Ten Hag’s ‘eight-player shortlist’ for summer sale.

Dean Henderson has spent the entirety of this season on loan at Nottingham Forest and will be allowed to leave.

Also on the list is Norwegian, Alex Telles, Fred, and McTominay, including Anthony Martial, who has struggled with a niggling injury problem at the club this season.

Manchester United captain, Harry Maguire, who has struggled for game time this season is also on the list, including Eric Bailey and Brandon Williams.

Manchester United finished third in the just-concluded 2022/23 season and will hope to mount a formidable challenge for the title next with Ten Hag’s reinforcement.
