Manchester United have submitted a second bid for Mason Mount whichbhas been rejected by Chelsea, MySportDab reports.

The Red Devils are getting close to reaching an agreement with Chelsea to sign the England midfielder but there are hiccups in the transfer fee.

Reports reaching us from David Ornstein says Manchester United have tabled a new offer worth £50m for Mason Mount but Chelsea have rejected the offer.

Manchester United’s main bid for Mason Mount is £45m while add-ons is £5m.

Chelsea have rejected the offer demanding an offer of £65m; £60m main fee and £5m add-ons.

The report by David Ornstein says;

“Manchester United have today made an improved bid for Mason Mount. Proposal £45m+££5m add-ons. Chelsea countered with £60m + £5m add-ons.

Manchester United have a limit while Chelsea want to comply to Mason Mount’s wishes. No agreement but getting closer.”

MySportDab understand Manchester United had already agreed personal terms with Mason Mount remaining the transfer fee as will be decided by Chelsea.

Mason Mount was given the greenlight to push for his Chelsea exit after he could agree terms with the club on a new deal.

He demanded £250,000 weekly wage from the club as a condition to pen a new deal but the demand was rejected by Chelsea.

According to reports Manchester United are ready to meet the £250,000 demand for Mason Mount to sign him from Chelsea.

When completed, the deal will see Mason Mount ranked as one of the highest-paid players at Manchester United.

The England international was earning £80,000 weekly at Chelsea and was among the least paid players in the Blues’ rank.
