The first half of the match was good coming from both teams who made sure of their objective for the clash.
Manchester City started well dominating play going forward as they had the more opportunities to score but couldn’t make it happen.
Real Madrid did more of the defending work which had them seating deep and searching for a counter attack which didn’t happen immediately.
Vinicius Junior soon made it 1-0 for his side in the 36th minutes of the game from a nice buildup which saw the Brazilian finishing up neatly for the goal.

The second half was beautiful coming from both teams who made sure they were able to give a good account of themselves.
Real Madrid kept on with their advantage ensuring the game was still in their control knowing they will be a second leg of the encounter in England.
Manchester City leveled things in the 67th minutes of the game ensuring the scoreline turned 1-1 with a stunner from Kevin De Bruyne who finished off neatly.
The game escalated into the remaining minutes with both teams doing everything in their power to take the lead which didn’t happen as they carried on.
Manchester City made sure they were able to finish the match 1-1 against Real Madrid after making a comeback as they both played out a draw first leg match.
