Manchester United are now preparing to submit a £55million bid to sign Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount, MySportDab reports.

The England International is now a primary target for Erik ten Hag ahead of the summer transfer window and the Dutch coach wants it done.

Mount will enter into the final year of his contract at Chelsea next season and his future remains uncertainty.

According to Old Trafford sources, talks over a bid to sign the 24-year-old will soon commence.

United are ready to pay around £55m for Mount, which is below Chelsea’s £85m valuation.

United may increase their initial bid for Mount given Ten Hag’s desire to sign another forward for next season.

However, the intention from United to sign Mount this summer is serious and its not upto the Blues academy graduate to decide.

Also, Arsenal are also interested in Mount as Mikel Arteta looks to build and challenge for the title again next season.

Liverpool are also actively considering entering the talks to sign for Mount as Jurgen Klopp wants to rebuild his midfield.

New Chelsea Coach Mauricio Pochettino is a huge fan of Mount and would prefer him to sign a new contract.

Mount could develop into a key player for Pochettino, who has admired the midfielder for many years.

However, there is significant doubt that Chelsea would convince Mount to sign a new contract successfully.

Chelsea’s new owners have spent £600million on new players in the previous two transfer windows but failed to factor in new contracts.

The Blues must now sell the player this summer to avoid losing Mount for nothing next year.
