Manchester United’s decision on Wout Weghorst’s loan plan has been confirmed, MySportDab reports.

The Red Devils signed Wout Weghorst from Burnley in January on a season-long loan deal that will expire at the end of the season.

Joining the Red Devils, Wout Weghorst has just managed only 2 goals in 26 appearances for Manchester United.

Playing mainly as a striker and sometimes an attacking midfielder, Weghorst was signed to fill the gap left on Manchester United attack by the exit of Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Dutch forward has started regularly in Erik Ten Hag’s squad and has seen his popularity with Manchester United fans soar.

However, he has failed to create the needed impact although he has won the heart of Erik Ten Hag.

In his 22 apearances for Manchester United, Wout Weghorst started the first 19 games but has slipped down the pecking order coming on as substitutes in recent games.

Weghorst brings the spark to Manchester United attack but has been found wanting in front of goals.

He has failed to find the back of the net in 13 Premier League games for Manchester United.

There have been speculations whether Manchester United will renew his loan deal or sign him permanently at the end of the summer.
