Bayern Munich have parted ways with the club’s Chief Executive despite clinching the Bundesliga title, MySportDab reports.

A statement on the club’s website reveal both CEO Oliver Kahn and Sports Director, Hasan Salihamidzic has been shown the exit door from the club.

Fabrizio Romano revealed the two football executives where already earmarked to be sacked by the club before Bundesliga final matchday.

The sack of the two is not unrelated to the crisis that rocked Bayern Munich in the buildup to the Bundesliga title race.

Oliver Kahn was thought of as the brain behind the decision to part ways with former Bayern Munich manager, Julian Nagelsmann.

He brought in Thomas Tuchel to replace the former RB Leipzig manager.

Compared to his predecessor, Thomas Tuchel has failed to live up to the bidding.

He lost out of the German Super Cup, the Champions League, and nearly miss the Bundesliga trophy to rivals Borussia Dortmund after settling for a shock home defeat to RB Leipzig on the penultimate matchday.

James Musiala scored a late winner for the Bavarians’ against Koln to secure the Bundesliga title at the death.

Despite the Bundesliga triumph it was confirmed Bayern Munich were already set to sack Oliver Kahn.

Sporting Director Hasan Salihamidzic has also been sacked.

Hasan also endorsed Julian Nagelsmann’s exit, complaining of lack of consistency.

He was the brain behind the signing of Sadio Mane from Liverpool who have struggled in the team.

Hasan Salihamidzic joined Bayern Munich as Sporting Director in 2017 while Oliver Kahn become Bayern Munich CEO in July, 2021.
