Manchester United Coach Erik Ten Hag did not hide his anger at the players after losing a two goal lead against Tottenham, MySportDab reports.

The Red Devils failed to seal the win against Tottenham and improve their hopes of playing Champions league football next season.

At half-time, United were leading 2-0 thanks to goals from Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford.

However, Spurs scored twice twice with goals from Pedro Porro and Heung-min Son to secure a 2-2 draw.

Speaking after the match, Ten Hag said: ‘Some of them thought 90 percent was enough.

‘I know we have the fatigue issue and players aren’t robots but must give everything till the end. That is the basis.

‘We reduced the energy in the second half and that was our problem. It’s been repeating over the past few games but always fail to keep it going.

‘We are very disappointed from 2-0 up to not win. We failed to take our chances to make it 3-1.

‘We did not play well over the 90 minutes. After half-time, being up 2-0, we needed another goal.

‘We must now learn how to manage games and keep the ball. Not giving our opponents the ball everytime.

‘We must block the crosses, be proactive and come out and play more. It looked too easy for them to score a goal.

‘We need more energy to be ready for Sunday (against Aston Villa).’

Manchester United face Aston Villa in their next match on Sunday in the early 2pm kick-off.
