Marcus Rashford opened the scoring for Red Devils just 6 minutes into the game before Perez pulled an equaliser in the 32nd minute to bring the scores level before the half-time break.

Burnley loanee Wout Weghorst completed the rout for the Red Devils in the 82nd minute after firing home a rebound to seal the win for the Red Devils.

A few minutes before the final whistle, some Real Betis fans were seen trying to break into the stand of the home fans.

They tried to beat the barricades separating United fans and there was ensuing chaos and confusion in the stadium before riot Police intervened immediately to quell the building chaos.

However, scuffles were already breaking out before the police mounted a guard against the line of the Real Betis fans who were beginning to throw missiles at United fans and pulling the stands.

The situation was effectively brought under control at the end of the final whistle with Manchester United securing a big win going into the second leg.
