Tottenham claimed an amazing 3-1 victory at home against Nottingham Forest, MySportDab reports.
Harry Kane scored twice in the match which saw the home side getting the job done after their Champions League exit.
First Half Report
The second half was a good start for Spurs who had control of the encounter going forward and scoring the goals from their end.
Richarlison scored for Tottenham in the 3rd minutes of the match but his goal was called off by VAR which returned things back level.
Nottingham Forest couldn’t keep up as Harry Kane made it count in the 19th minutes of the match from a beautiful goal which made it 1-0.
He followed up with another goal from the penalty spot in the 35th minutes of the match which made things 2-0 and a brace for Harry Kane.
Nothing else happened as the first half came to an end with Tottenham taking a 2-0 advantage into the break against Nottingham Forest.
Second Half Report
The second half was were Spurs had to make sure they completed the job which wasn’t an easy one for them at any point.
Nottingham Forest put up with a good fight in the early minutes of the second half which saw them creating opportunities but couldn’t score.
Tottenham were in control with the advantage which they made sure was well kept while the match progressed forward between them.
Son Heung-min made it 3-0 in the 60th minutes of the game after a nice piece of teamwork which saw the Korea international making it count.
The away side pulled one goal back in the 81st minutes making the scoreline 3-1 which came off a finish through Joe Worrall who wasted no time.
Andre Ayew missed a lot penalty which could have given his side a hope of making a comeback in the encounter.
The match ended with Tottenham taking all three points from a 3-1 victory against Nottingham Forest after 90 minutes of football between them all.
