FT: Luxembourg 0-6 Portugal, Ronaldo Net Brace AGAIN! (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

Portugal thrashed Luxembourg 0-6 in their second Euro 2024 qualifiers with Cristiano Ronaldo making the most, MySportDab reports.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored a brace once again as he helped his side to another big victory in the qualifications series for Euro 2024.

First Half Report 

The first half show was spectacular coming from the Portuguese who made sure they controlled everything happening.

Cristiano Ronaldo set to the ball rolling with an outstanding goal in the 9th minute which saw him getting the assist from Nuno Mendes to make it 0-1 for Portugal.

Luxembourg was caught sleeping as Joao Felix added another one in the 15th minute with the assist coming from Bernardo Silva which made the scoreline 2-0.

The game continued with a lot happening as another goal was recorded in the 18th minute of the match from Bernardo Silva who was able to make it count 3-0 in the game.

Another one from Cristiano Ronaldo in the 31st minute made it 4-0 after a good team effort with Bruno Fernandes as the match carried on between them.

The first half ended with Portugal taking a 0-4 advantage after 45 minutes. Luxembourg was poor all through as they couldn’t make anything happen.

Second Half Report 

The second half saw the home side doing well than the first 45 minutes which saw them conceding a lot of goals.

The match continued with Portugal dominating play and showing some quality football display on the pitch over their opponent.

Luxembourg couldn’t do anything much as their attacking was also poor and cut short whenever they try to make any move.

Otavio goal in the 77th minute made the scoreline 0-5 which spelled more embarrassment from the home side who were totally out of the equation.

Rafael Leao missed a penalty in the 85th minute before going on to score in the 89th to make the scoreline increase to 0-6.

The match came to an end with Portugal taking a 0-6 victory. The victory meant the Portuguese makes it six points by beating Luxembourg in their second game for Euro 2024 ticket.
