Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag has received a double injury boost ahead of his Premier League clash against Liverpool, MySportDab reports.

The Red Devils tackle Liverpool at Anfield in a top-four make-or-break tie for Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp.

Liverpool have struggled this season in the Premier League seeming to miss out of the top-four race but thanks to a late resurgence that has seen the team record three wins and a draw in their last four Premier League games.

They are currently 6th on the Premier League table, 6 points away from fourth-placed Tottenham who have played a game more.

A win for Liverpool at Anfield will see the team make a big step in the Premier League top-four race but tackling in-form Manchester United will be an uphill task for the Jurgen Klopp-led team.

Meanwhile, reports reaching us from the Mirror have confirmed Manchester United have received a major injury boost ahead of the crunch tie against Liverpool.

Jadon Sancho and Luke Shaw are the two players that have returned to the squad ahead of the Liverpool tie.

Both players were not available for the Red Devils’ comeback win over West Ham in the FA Cup and are now ready to return against the Premier League 2021/22 runners-up and Champions League finalists.

Erik Ten Hag is still tied in three competitions – the Premier League, the FA Cup, and the Europa League.

The return of Jadon Sancho and Luke Shaw will be a huge leverage, helping him rotate the squad to get the best out of the players with the club’s tight schedule.

Despite the return of the two players to the squad, the game against Liverpool will be a blockbuster.

Manchester United won the first leg this season but a trip to Anfield will be a very big test for Erik Ten Hag’s resurgent squad.

The Red Devils are winless in their last six trips to Anfield, losing three and drawing three.
