West Ham United held Chelsea to a 1-1 draw at the London Stadium which saw VAR chopped off the winning goal, MySportDab reports.
Joao Felix scored his first goal in the Premier League which was the most talked about all through the encounter.
First Half ReportÂ
The London Derby kicked off with both sides pushing forward looking to get an early opener which didn’t happen for them despite all their efforts.
West Ham United had to deal with a lot coming from their opponent who had a lot of fast paced players who were becoming a problem on the pitch.
Chelsea had many opportunities until Joao Felix goal was chopped for offside before he had to wait until the 16th minutes to make the scoreline 0-1.
Enzo Fernandez was the brain behind the goal which saw the Argentinian delivering from outside for the Portuguese to make it a goal as they continued.
West Ham pulled back level in the 28th minutes through Emerson Palmeiri who made things level 1-1 hurting back his former team in the process.
Chelsea ended the first half with a 1-1 scoreline against their opponent after 45 minutes of football played between them for the afternoon.
Second Half ReportÂ
The second half came for life with so much coming from both teams who were looking to pick up immediately where they left things off.
Chelsea were dominant with the ball possession but they struggled to make anything happen as things wasn’t looking that easy in the match which carried on.
West Ham did well enough going forward as Tomas Soucek scored in the 83rd minutes of the match but VAR ruled it out for a Declan Rice offside leaving the game 1-1.
The match ended with the Hammers holding Chelsea to a 1-1 draw after 90 minutes of football which took place at the London Stadium.
