Italian side Salernitana have officially unveiled new signing William Troost Ekong, MySportDab reports.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria defender makes his return back to Italy where he left few years ago for the Premier League.
William Troost Ekong parted ways with Championship side Watford which reached an agreement to allow the defender leave this January window.
He has been a key player for the English side who had to suffer relegation last campaign after failing to stay in the Premier League.
The move for William Troost Ekong came as a surprise which have been finalized with the official unveiling made possible today.
The agreement between Salernitana and Watford is for a loan move which also included an option to make the deal permanent when the season ends.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria captain is hoping he can help his new team survive relegation which they currently are facing.
