Marcos Alonso has signed a new contract with Barcelona which will keep him longer in Spain, MySportDab reports.
The defender recently completed a move from Chelsea which was due to competition for regular playing time at Stamford Bridge.
Although before his move to Barcelona he played a huge part under Thomas Tuchel which unfortunately he had to make the last minute move happen.
Marcos Alonso have now extended his stay the the laliga side today as he put pen to paper on a new deal.
His new contract also have a clause which is €50 million in case of any sudden development from any team wanting to sign the player.
The new deal was confirmed via Barcelona official page which also revealed the contract will last until 2024.

“Barcelona and Marcos Alonso have reached an agreement for the player to extend his contract until 30 June 2024.
“The buyout clause has been set at 50 million euros.
Marcos Alonso is enjoying life at New Camp despite not playing on a regular basis as the team is still going through a rebuild under Xavi.
He is also on the road to win his first laliga title as they are currently number one on the table and clear off Real Madrid.
