Manchester United have signed Marcel Sabitzer on loan from Bayern Munich, MySportDab reports.
The Red Devils made a deadline bid for a loan deal for Sabitzer after it was confirmed Christian Eriksen will be ruled out for three months.
Christian Eriksen suffered an excruciating angle injury and will be sidelined for three months.
After Eriksen’s Injury, Man United made a shock deadline move to sign Sabitzer from Bayern Munich on loan.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United have reached full agreements with Bayern Munich to sign Sabitzer.
Sabitzer has been spotted traveling down to Manchester to complete the move and will be unveiled by the club soon.
Details of the loan deal reveal Sabitzer is joining till the end of the season, and there is no option to buy attached to the deal.
The move will enable Man United strengthen their midfield after the absence of Christian Eriksen.
Sabitzer struggled at Bayern Munich and failed to break into the Bayern Munich Starting XI since he joined the club and the last game he started was in November.
Sabitzer will partner the likes of Casemiro, Scott McTominay, Fred and Bruno Fernandes in Man United’s midfield.
Before his move to Manchester United, Sabitzer played 54 games and scored twice since his move to Bayern in 2021.
