Angry Everton has been spotted in a viral footage chasing down and confronting Everton star Anthony Gordon after Southampton’s loss, MySportDab reports.
The fans chased down Gordon on the streets of Liverpool and confronted him with questions, while they banged on his drive.
Gordon did not respond. He was focused on his journey and refused to look or respond to the fans after he stopped.
He later sped off in another video but was chased by the fans, who were holding the camera and recording the footage.
Another footage on Twitter showed the Police trying to restrain the fans and allow some space for Gordon.
Everton suffered a shock 2-1 defeat against Southampton compounding their woes and Premier League struggles.
They are currently 19th in the Premier League and will be compelled to be fighting relegation just like last season.
The loss to Southampton would have sparked the fury of the fans as the Saints are also struggling and are rocked bottom of the Premier League.
Southampton came from behind to secure the win in what could be seen as a dramatic resurgence in the squad.
They had eliminated Manchester City from the Carabao Cup four days earlier, and backing it with another win in the Premier League was brilliant.
Apart from Gordon, another Everton player Yeri Mina was gathered and grilled by Everton fans for failing the club following the loss.
The Anthony Gordon and Yeri Mina’s footage were shared on TikTok and has already gathered over 22,000 likes.
