The game had the Blues doing more than enough to make sure the victory came for them by any means possible.

First Half Report

Chelsea came into the game at the back of a losing streak which meant they had to make something happen by any means possible.

It took the Blues 16 minutes to score the opening goal as a nice buildup saw Raheem Sterling with a nice square ball which Kai Havertz slide in to make it 1-0.

The match continued with Bournemouth doing more than enough to make sure the scoreline does not increase due to the immense pressure coming from the home side.

Another beautiful teamwork from Kepa Arrizabalaga saw the ball worked up until Kai Havertz set up Mason Mount who finished off neatly to make the scoreline 2-0 in the 24th minute.

Chelsea scored another goal through Christian Pulisic, but unfortunately, it wasn’t counted as the first half ended with a 2-0 lead against Bournemouth.

Second Half Report

The second half was more covered and closely matched with Bournemouth doing everything to cover up the leaking space in the first 45 minutes.

Chelsea was forced to make a change after Reece James went down injured which had the fans singing his name as he came off for Cesar Azpilicueta.

Bournemouth did everything to stay alive as the match carried on hitting the one-hour mark with the scoreline still in favor of the home side who were doing so well.

They both hit the 90th minute of the game with nothing else happening in the match which pushed on with more coming in terms of opportunities.

The match came to a conclusion with Chelsea claiming the much-needed 2-0 victory at Stamford Bridge against Bournemouth in the English Premier League.
