John McGinn goal in the first half was good enough as Aston Villa beat Chelsea 0-1 in a friendly match, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

Incredible stuff in the first half which saw the Villa side doing well enough ensuring they had everywhere covered up against their opponent.

Aston Villa scored in the 7th minutes of the game which saw John McGinn netting from a wonderful position which made the scoreline 0-1 between them.

For Chelsea it was looking more like a game the manager is looking to test all his players and see which of them he will be pushing to the senior team as more youth players were on the pitch.

Omari Hutchinson came close to making something happen for the Blues, but it was good enough as he couldn’t beat the goalkeeper to make the scoreline level.

Chelsea tried everything possible but couldn’t make anything happen as they went inside for the break 0-1 behind against Aston Villa who were good.

Second Half Report

The second half was one which they both did all in their power to make something happen but despite how much they put in, it wasn’t enough in the early minutes.

Aston Villa did more defending against the Blues who were pressing and trying to find a way of coming back which didn’t happen at any point as the match Carried on further.

Chelsea made some changes coming in to the second half to try and see if they could make a comeback which didn’t happen with the game progressing further into the finals stages.

Nothing else could materialize as Aston Villa held things down like they were playing a Premier League match they defended to keep their advantage going.

The match ending with Chelsea suffering a 1-3 defeat after 90 minutes of football in their friendly game which didn’t go as they expected it to happen.
