Chelsea Hijack Enzo Fernandez Move After £105M AGREEMENT!

Chelsea are now looking to hijack the move for Benfica midfielder Enzo Fernandez after agreeing to pay fee, MySportDab reports.

The midfielder is a target for so many team’s in Europe including Liverpool and some other Premier League teams.

Chelsea are doing everything possible to now make Enzo Fernandez their next signing under new owner who are making all the efforts.

The Premier League side seems to have communicated towards their agreement to pay Enzo Fernandez’s £105million release clause to ensure a move happen.

It is also claimed that Benfica will allow a move happen only if the release clause can be triggered by any interested team.

The midfielder who is 21 years old was named the best young player during the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar.

He helped Argentina into winning the FIFA World Cup title despite starting the tournament from the bench during the opening games.

Chelsea have send messages forward informing Benfica president Rui Costa and agent Jorge Mendes of their intention.

According to reports from The Standard, the London club are hoping they can hijack the move from the likes of Real Madrid and other Premier League teams who have shown their interests.

Enzo Fernandez is under a contract with Benfica that will come to an end in 2027 which is five years from this day 2022.

The Portuguese side will only allow the player leave if his release clause can be triggered which is for £105 million.

Chelsea are yet to open talks on personal terms with the player as they feel reaching out to Benfica will play a huge role in making the deal happen.

The contracts of Jorginho and Ngolo Kante are both coming to an end this season which have kept the Blues in search for possible options.

If Enzo Fernandez is completed, Chelsea could also be looking to go after Declan Rice and Jude Bellingham who are also their top target in the midfield.
