Been White has exited the England World Cup squad in Qatar, MySportDab reports.

The Arsenal star and England right-back reportedly left the Three Lions training camp in Al Wakrah in Qatar after being included by Gareth Southgate in the squad.

The English FA confirmed that Ben White had exited the squad and is not expected to return to the team for personal reasons.

‘Ben White has left England’s training base in Al Wakrah and returned home for personal reasons,’ the FA statement reads.

The FA statement hinted at the need to respect Ben White’s privacy, as they failed to clear the air on the actual reason the Premier League star exited the squad.

‘We ask that the player’s privacy is respected at this moment in time,’ the FA said.

Meanwhile, Ben White’s club, Arsenal, has reacted to his shock World Cup exit after the Three Lions had played three matches already.

A statement shared on the club’s social media page reads;

‘We’re all with you, Ben.’

While Ben White excited the Three Lions World Cup squad still remains unknown.

His girlfriend and fiancee, Milly Adams, which he had earlier proposed to this year, was spotted in the stands during England’s World Cup clash with the USA.

Been White has not featured in any of England’s World Cup games and missed the last match against Wales.

He has been a crucial member of Mikel Arteta’s high-flying Arsenal side this season, having started all 14 Premier League games for the Gunners.

According to reports, Gareth Southgate will not call up a replacement for Ben White, with Kyle Walker, Alexander Arnold, and Kieran Trippier covering up his position in the squad.
