Lionel Messi was on target as Argentina thrashed UAE 0-5 in their friendly game ahead of World Cup, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The first half of the encounter rained a lot of goals from the South Americans who made sure they kept on scoring for fun against their opponent.
It took Argentina just 17 minutes of the game to score the opening goal which came from Manchester City striker Julian Alvarez which saw them take a 0-1 advantage going forward.
UAE couldn’t make anything come to reality from their end as Angel Di Maria doubled the advantage in the 25th minute of the clash which saw the scoreline turned 0-2.
Another one followed immediately from the Juventus play which made it his brace for the encounter and a 0-3 scoreline in the 36th minute of the encounter.
More came through as the match progressed further which gave Paris Saint Germain forward Lionel Messi an opportunity which he utilize well and made it 0-4 in the 44th minute.
That last goal was enough as the first half came to an end with Argentina taking a 0-4 advantage into the break against UAE after 45 minutes of football which was played between them.
Second Half Report
The second half wasn’t the same in terms of the free flow of goals which was sealed off from becoming worst by the home side for the match.
Argentina were still much in the game doing everything to make sure they add another goal which came in the 60th minute of the game through Joaquin Correa who made it 0-5.
UAE was able to secure things much better in the remaining minutes of the game which saw them doing more defending than attacking their opponent in the game.
The match came to an end with Argentina beating UAE 0-5 in a game which was just a friendly encounter with the FIFA World Cup in Qatar just few days away from kickoff.
