Lionel Messi has confirmed that the 2022 World, which kicks off on November 26, will be his last World Cup with Argentina, MySportDab reports.
The PSG star and former Barcelona player appeared in 2010, 2014, and 2018 World Cup campaigns for the national team.
The 2022 World Cup, which will be hosted in Qatar, will be his fourth World Cup Campaign with the Argentina national team.

After winning a record number of Ballon d ‘Ors and several other individual awards, Lionel Messi is yet to win the World Cup with the Argentina national team.
The 34-year-old came close to winning the world’s most coveted football trophy in 2010 when Argentina battled European giants Spain in the final in South Africa.
The South American team lost the heated duel by a lone goal to Spain extending Lionel Messi’s wait for the ultimate trophy to round up his illustrious football career.
Messi has scored in six consecutive matches for the Argentina national team and is expected to make the Argentina squad for the World.
The former Barcelona star will now have to do his best for his country as this will be his last appearance in the tournament, according to him.
Meanwhile, speculations still link the legendary playmaker to Camp Nou’s return.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Messi is still undecided about his future with PSG, with his two years contract rounding off at the end of this season.
Barcelona are keenly interested and are devising all means to resign the Argentine international.
However, it is still unclear whether he will sign a new contract or return to his former club.
