Erling Haaland has slammed his critics after a dramatic come-back win by Manchester City over Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League Matchday 2 clash, MySportDab reports.

Haaland, 22, pulled a deadly 84th-minute acrobatic volley to hand Manchester City a late win over his former club.

Borussia Dortmund took a surprise lead a few minutes into the second half after Jude Bellingham nodded home a strike to give the visitors the lead.

Manchester City were held for 26 minutes before they could find an equaliser in the 80th minute, courtesy of John Stones’ thunderbolt strike outside the box.

Manchester City subsequently swung ti to deserved lead four minutes after that equaliser by John Stones.

It was Cancelo with the spectacular back foot and curvy assist that made Erling Haaland the game’s hero.

 

Cancel I coiled in a cross from the right-hand side, which meets Haaland in the box between two Dortmund defenders.

The Norwegian flew into the air to volley home the ball in style earning Pep Guardiola a second successive group stage victory.

In a post-match press conference, Haaland expressed his happiness at the late winner he scored but also slammed critics who blamed him for not having many touches of the ball.

Here Is What He said:

“People maybe talk about that I don’t touch the ball enough, but I don’t care. I know what I am going to do. What I have to do and this is exactly what I will keep doing My biggest dream is to touch the ball five times and score score for goals.”

With the goal against Borussia Dortmund, Erling Haaland has increased Champions League goals to 26 goals in 21 matches.
