Chelsea has unveiled Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as their new player, MySportDab reports.

Aubamenyang, 33, has joined Chelsea from Barcelona on the final day of the 2022 transfer window.

 

Chelsea have executed their 2022/23 Premier League matches without a recognized no.9 after they lost two of their strikers to Italian Serie A and German Bundesliga.

Timo Werner so made his return to hai former club RB Leipzig leaving the Blues with no number 9.

 

Todd Boehly had pursued a deal vigorously with Barcelona to sign the former Arsenal striker with the transfer deadline coming to a close.

According to reports, Chelsea had met with Barcelona on Tuesday to steiemr a deal with the club.

While Barcelona held out for €25m, Chelsea is said to value Aubameyang at €20m.

Another meeting was scheduled for the next day, which was on Wednesday, the last day following the transfer deadline day.

Fabrizio Romao had confirmed after the  Wednesday meeting that agreement has been reach between the two clubs for Aubameyang.

The Gabon international has now been officially unveiled as Chelsea player after he signed a two year contract with the club.

The Blues are signing Aubameyang for a fee of €14, plus a swap deal that will see Marcos Alonso joins Barcelona.

 

Aubameyang is Chelsea’s seventh signing under the new Chelsea director, transfer Chief and owner Todd Boehly.

Auabmeyang only spend 8 months at Barcelona making 24 appearances and  scoring 13 goals.

The renowned striker will have a chance to work with former Dortmund coach Thomas Tuchel.

Aubameyang joined the likes of Cucurella, Chuwuemeka, and others.
