Erling Haaland scored a brace as Manchester City claimed a 0-2 win against West Ham United, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

The first half of the encounter was good as Pep Guardiola decided to give Erling Haaland his debut, which wasn’t too bad for the Norwegian.

West Ham United did a lot of work making sure they did not go down that easy against their opponent, who had so many options attacking and throwing everything they had forward.

West Ham United Vs Manchester City

It wasn’t an easy one for Manchester City, who couldn’t find a breakthrough that easy despite how much they forced themselves, pushing and hoping something would happen early.

It took the away side until the 36th minute of the match to score the lead, which came from a penalty that saw Erling Haaland stepping up to make sure he scored to make it 0-1 for the citizens.

That goal ensured Manchester City went inside for the break, taking a narrow 0-1 advantage after 45 minutes against West Ham United, who weren’t that bad for themselves.

Second Half Report

The second half was another one that had managers and their players working non-stop to make something happen as the tempo increased so much.

Manchester City kept their advantage going in the early stages as they looked balanced and well organized coming on for the remainder of the 45 minutes with the 0-1 lead.

West Ham United tightened things at the back as this time they were more formidable blocking everything that was coming at them with all full force.

The Hammers were good but they couldn’t stop Erling Haaland from making it 0-2 in the 65th minute of the game which Kevin de Bruyne assisted him to make it a brace.

Nothing else happened between them in the match as Manchester City took all three points beating West Ham United 0-2 to open their new season with all three points.
