Tottenham has thrashed Southampton 4-1 in their Premier League Opener, MySportDab reports

First Half

The game began with both sides pressing to find a goal. The Saints mount intense pressure on Tottenham as they try to score.

Tottenham continued to be on the defense as they try to contain a rampaging Southampton side.

The Saints swung into a surprising lead as they struck in the 12th minutes to go into an early lead courtsey of Ward-prowse.

Tottenham came into the game trying to push for an eaualising goal. Their efforts paid off in the 20th minute as Sessegnon struck making the scoreline 1-1.

The Antonio Conted led team continued to push as they mount intense pressure on the Southampton defence.

Their efforts paid off in the 31st minute as Erick Dier assisted by Son find the back of the net to give Conte the lead.

Tottenham continued to attack looking for more goals as the first half approach the final minutes.

The first half ended with Spurs leading the visitors by 2-1

Second Half

The second half began in earnest. Despite leading the game, Tottenham continued to push for a third goal.

They dominated the midfield and out the game beyond their visitors. The third goal cami in the 60th minute.

Salisu struck into the net to make it 3-q for the domineering Tottenham side. Southampton we’re completely overwhelmed in the game.

Three minutes later, it was Kulusevski who scored for the Lilywhites to make it 4-1 for brilliant Tottenham.

Tottenham continued to dominate the game till the final minutes. The game ended with Antonio Conte winning 4-1 in his Premier League opener.
