Erik ten Hag has now arrived at Manchester United’s Carrington complex for Pre-season training, MySportDab reports.

The Dutch coach has now officially began his reign as the new manager today.

Ten Hag arrived this morning in a car driven by a staff around 8am.

Manchester United players are also expected to report for pre-season training today.

In April, Ten Hag was announced as the new United manager and the new man is ready to start immediately.

He will now undertake his first training session with Manchester United players.

Assistant coach Steve McClaren also arrived early at Carrington after being named in the backroom staff.

Some first-team players won’t resume training today after playing in June’s Nations League international matches.

The likes of De Gea, Fernandes and Ronaldo will all the absent.

However, there will be 15 senior players at Pre-season Training today including Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho.

Ten Hag has a lot of work to do, after United ended last season in sixth position.

The Red Devils narrowly qualified for the Europa League after a disappointing season.

Their total 58 points last season was United’s worst total in 32 years.

The likes of Pogba, Le Grant, Matic, Mata and Cavani have all left the club this summer.

But players like Dean Henderson, Phil Jones, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Anthony Martial, Alex Telles, Eric Bailly, and Andreas Pereira still have uncertain futures.

United’s lack of transfer activity so far this summer has frustrated fans already.

Despite talks for Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong, there is still no agreement till today.

Ajax winger Antony and Brentford midfielder Christian Eriksen have also been liked with the Red Devils.
