Manchester City will miss three key players as the battle to defend the Premier League title gets messier, MySportDab reports.

This development was made known by their Coach, Pep Guardiola, who expressed his worries over the three key players.

The tikitaka Legend had regained the top spot in the Premier League and is comfortably positioned to toughen the race for Liverpool.

The Citizens now have a commanding three points lead over their closest rival Liverpool coupled with superior goal difference.

With three games remaining to the end of the season, Pep Guadiola revealed that the Blue side of Manchester will miss three of their key players, Skysport reports.

According to the report, John Stones, Kyle Walker and Reuben Dias will not be a part of the City squad till the end of the season.

This could be a major blow for the defending Champions and 2022 Champions League Semi-finalist.

The Citizens will travel to the Molineux Stadium to take on Wolves in their next Premier League fixture.

They will then host a resilient West Ham at the Etihad Stadium on May 15 before ending the season with an away match against Aston Villa at the Villa Park.

Pep Guardiola is still in control of the title race. A 5-0 thrashing of Newcastle was all they needed to return to the summit.

Guardiola said that due to the injury challenge, he is now left with three defenders for the remaining three games.

However, he has remained optimistic of his side chances to defend the Premier League this season.

Recall that the Premier League giants had crashed out of the 2022 Champions League Semi-finals after losing to Real Madrid.
