Frenkie de Jong

Manchester United have given Frenkie de Jong an ultimatum to agree on their proposal, MySportDab reports.

Frenkie de Jong is linked with a move to Old Trafford for a possible reunion with his former manager who they both worked together at Ajax.

The Netherlands international is a key player for Barcelona who is open to letting him leave for the right price this summer window.

Although they have placed him as a key player heading into the new season which will resume in a few months as the current campaign just finished.

There have been contact made already for the midfielder to make that move happen, but nothing is concrete yet between both parties.

Barcelona on their part is waiting to hear from Manchester United who are desperate to land a move knowing Erik Ten Hag wants to work with the player.

The English Premier League side seems to be losing patience waiting for him to respond to their offer which had been placed on the table.

Manchester United has told Frenkie de Jong to hurry up and decide if he is open to joining the club, according to reports reaching us from Sport.

The Premier League side has made the midfielder one of their top targets for the summer window which is almost here.

They look to rebuild the squad for next season, while Barcelona is desperate for money and open to selling him.

De Jong would rather stay at Barcelona, however, and has been told to give Manchester United a definitive answer.

The player could be as expensive as €70 million with the Spanish side hoping to get as much as possible if he will be allowed to make the move.

For now, nothing yet has been confirmed as we wait to see if Frenkie de Jong will be open to making that move knowing he won’t play Champions League football.
