Jules Kounde is being linked with a move to Chelsea this summer transfer window, MySportDab reports.
Jules Kounde has been linked with Chelsea for a long time and the Premier League side is now ready to make the move happen.
The discussion was already done and personal terms agreed upon by the defender last summer, but they couldn’t reach an agreement with Sevilla.
It looks like a move could happen this summer with both clubs looking to agree to happen to know the defender wanted the move back then.
Chelsea has revived their interest and it’s now looking more possible than before as preparations are being done ahead of a new owner set to be announced.
Reports already claimed Jules Kounde has already arrived in London for a move as pictures have also been seen of him on the streets.
This might be another clue of a movie waiting to happen or he is just set to join another London which is not Chelsea.
Although time will tell as the Premier League is waiting for the announcement of a new owner before they open business as it used to be before.
According Fabrizio Romano, he has confirmed the latest update concerning the move which looks likely to happen for Chelsea.
Here Is What Was Said:
“Koundé has been top of the list for Chelsea for months.
“He’s considered a serious option and the player would love a Premier League move. Release clause: €80m.
“Chelsea will push to sign Koundé, working on it for a long time… plan hasn’t changed.
They also have to make more signings with possible moves for Romagnoli and Pau Torres on the table hoping to happen.
Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen have both announced their departure from Chelsea after the last game of the season which was played during the weekend.
