Newcastle United beat Arsenal 2-0 as Gunner’s Champions League hope dashed away, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

Both teams started the game well as the first half looked good between both teams who did well enough going forward hoping for an early lead.

The Newcastle United goalkeeper was forced to an early save which kept his side in the encounter that could have gifted the away team the advantage they need badly.

Arsenal had more of a few errors of their own which almost resulted in them going down, but they were able to recover quickly to put things back in order.

No goal from either of both teams who carried on with so many opportunities but nothing was seen with the first half approaching the final stages.

The first half ended with Newcastle United 0-0 Arsenal as they both headed inside for the break following an evenly balanced 45 minutes of football played.

Second Half Report 

The second half provided two goals which wasn’t a good one for the away side knowing the position they fell from two amazing finishing.

Arsenal continued to press on the game as they looked the better of both teams on the pitch fighting hard to make something happen which didn’t come immediately.

Newcastle United broke the deadlock thanks to Ben White who was the man who the ball hit before going inside the net which made the scoreline 1-0 which was in the 56th minute of the game.

It was looking good for the home side who had what they were looking for and continued pressing until Bruno Guimaraes made it 2-0 in the 85th minute which was then done and dusted.

The second half ended with Newcastle United spoiling Arsenal chances of moving to 4th position after beating them 2-0 in what was supposed to be the away side scoring the goals.
