Raheem Sterling scored a brace as Man City thrashed Newcastle United 5-0 to move top of the EPL table, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

So much was seen from both of them in the first half of the encounter which saw goals happening from one of the teams.

Man City waited until 19 minutes to score the opening goal which came through Raheem Sterling who was assisted by Joao Cancelo to make it 1-0.

Newcastle United wasn’t good enough in their dealings going forward in attack as all their attempts on goal were very poor.

Aymeric Laporte made it 2-0 in the 38th minute after another brilliant effort saw Manchester City’s extended their advantage.

That was the last action as they ended the first half with Man City 2-0 Newcastle after 45 minutes of football played between them.

Second Half Report

The second half was explosive as so many goals were coming from the home side who continued their dominance.

Newcastle United was all struggling as Rodri scored in the 63rd minute of the game with assistance from Kevin De Bruyne to make it 3-0.

So much was seen as things carried on but no goal was scored with the away side maintaining their defense for the main time.

It was becoming an easy one for Man City who continued to press more but couldn’t increase their advantage heading into the final 20 minutes.

Another goal was scored very late in the 90th minute from Foden who made sure his finishing was perfectly executed to make it 4-0 with a few minutes left.

Once again they weren’t done as another finish from Raheem Sterling in the 90th minute plus additional time made it 5-0 thanks to Jack Grealish’s assistance.

The match ended with Man City thrashing Newcastle United to make sure they go top of the English Premier League table with three points above Liverpool.
