Chelsea Vs Watford

Ross Barkley scored a late winner as Chelsea beat Watford 2-1 in their last game of the season, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

The first half wasn’t that bad for both teams who were made to play hard creating opportunities that only one could could.

Watford had a good share of the encounter which started well in the afternoon as it carried on forward with them looking to make sure something good happen.

Chelsea scored the opening goal in the 11th minute through an incredible finish from Kai Havertz who was assisted by Kenedy as the scoreline turned 1-0 for the Blues.

The game continued with more opportunities and solid defending from the Hornets which saw the game progressing with nothing to show for it.

They approached the remaining minutes left to be played in the first half which saw good goalkeeping kept the scoreline the same as it was moving on.

That was how the first half ended with Chelsea 1-0 Watford after 45 minutes of football between them which wasn’t nice for the away team.

Second Half Report

The second half was exceptional coming from both teams who made sure the job was done as they enjoyed themselves scoring one goal each.

Chelsea continued where they left things off in the first-half with them showing dominance against a team who couldn’t do anything about the situation which was on ground.

The game continued with Watford pushing for a leveler which didn’t happen for them immediately as Thomas Tuchel had to make a couple of changes going forward.

The Hornets scored the leveler in the 87th minute through Dan Gosling who was able to benefit from an open opportunity and finished off neatly to make the scoreline 1-1 as it carried on.

It was looking good for away side who wanted to make sure they scored until a 90th minute plus added time strike from Ross Barkley made it 2-1 for the blues in the game.

The goal was enough as Chelsea claimed a 2-1 win against Watford to end their season with all three points which saw them maintaining their position in the English Premier League table.
