Erik Ten Hag’s salary as the new Manchester United Coach has now been leaked, MySportDab reports.
Manchester United announced Ten Hag as the manager on Thursday morning.
Erik ten Hag is trying to make Manchester United bring back Steve McClaren to Old Trafford as part of his coaching team.
The 52-year-old wants Sir Alex Ferguson’s former assistant manager McClaren on board as well.
He is keen to have someone with experience of the Premier League and Manchester United as well.
He has signed a three year contract worth over €30m.
He will earn £9million a year from the contract until June 2025.
His assistant manager at Ajax Mitchell van der Gaag is expected to join him at Manchester United in the summer.
Ten Hag was McClaren’s assistant at Twente as the coach rebuilt his reputation in Holland.
However, Manchester United have now denied claims that they are resisting Ten Hag’s request.
The Red Devils want to consider the current options at the club before brining in McClaren.
The current coaching team at Old Trafford Centre for now includes Mike Phelan, and Chris Armas.
McClaren has not gotten any job since he resigned as Derby County’s technical director in September.
He has previously managed Newcastle, QPR Nottingham Forest, Derby, and Middlesbrough in the past.
Erik Ten Hag’s three year contract has the option for another year included by Manchester United.
Additional incentives have been included in the contract in based on United’s success over the coming years.
Ten Hag will officially replace interim manager Rangnick at the end of the season.
