Arsenal could be getting their long time target Ollie Watkins when the summer window opens, MySportDab reports.

The Gunners have been long linked with a move for the Aston Villa striker including another from Everton.

Aston Villa are now ready to listen to Arsenal offer for Ollie Watkins who they will be open to reaching an agreement.

The London side are desperate to sign a new striker after terminating Aubameyang contract to allow him join Barcelona.

They are now in the market for possible moves which include them eyeing Isak from Laliga side.

Ollie Watkins and Dominic Calvert-Lewin are their main target who have proven difficult to happen over the last two windows.

Aston Villa and Everton were not into the idea of letting them leave with little the Gunners are offering on the table.

But now it looks like things have changed and a move could be happening this summer window.

Aston Villa are set to listen to offers for Arsenal-linked striker Ollie Watkins, according to reports reaching us from  Football Insider.

Villa boss Steven Gerrard is not convinced that the 26-year-old is the right man to lead the line going forward in the future.

He seeks to take the club up towards the European places and the striker just isn’t showing so much of improvement since his arrival as manager.

Watkins could be sold this summer if Villa receive a suitable offer, with Arsenal now poised to swoop for the England International.

The Gunners could benefit from him as he has proven to be a deadly striker around his team when they are playing well.

Ollie Watkins once scored four against Liverpool in Aston Villa thrashing of the big Premier League team.

Nothing has been confirmed yet, but Arsenal still remain the only team interested in making the move happen this summer.
