Andreas Christensen has been making moves off the pitch ahead of next season, MySportDab reports.
The Denmark international has been making headlines over the past few weeks.
Barcelona has been said to be the possible destination for Andreas Christensen who is still with Chelsea.
Over recent days it was going round that the player already reached an agreement to make the move to Spain.
Meanwhile, Bayern Munich also made their interest known on signing the player who will run out of contract end of the season.
Although it now look like the Bavarians will be missing out on getting a deal done for the player.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Andreas Christensen has decided to play for Barcelona next season.
Here Is What Was Said:
“Andreas Christensen has made his choice and he will play for Barcelona, there’s no doubt. Contract until June 2027. Matter of time.
“Meeting ongoing to complete the verbal agreement on final details between player side and Barça. Here we go soon.
This was followed by confirmation of first phase of medicals some days ago as they confirmed he will undergo the final stages yesterday.
The deal might be announced sooner than expected with the player currently out of the Chelsea team due to some issues.
It looks like he is already planning the next step in his career after failing to extend his contract at Stamford Bridge.
It was claimed that both the club and player reached an agreement to extend, but after few weeks nothing was confirmed.
Andreas Christensen has now decided to make a move elsewhere which will see him complete a switch to Barcelona next season.
The paperwork are already being done as of now which will see be official and this could also be a problem to Chelsea who will struggle to get his 100 percent commitment.
