Jadon Sancho scored the only goal as Man United were once again held to a 1-1 draw against Southampton, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

The game started with both clubs unable to get control of things as they kicked pretty well which made it evenly matched between them as it carried on.

Man United started with total dominance against their opponent as they pushed forward through ever possible attacking opportunity trying to score the opening goal which failed to happen for them.

More opportunities were created as the first half carried on as Southampton began to create some opportunities of their own which wasn’t going well for the Red Devils.

Jadon Sancho scored in the 21st minutes of the encounter which saw the scoreline turned 1-0 after an amazing teamwork effort which saw Marcus Rashford setting up his fellow countryman for the outstanding goal scored.

Nothing changed as the first half progressed and it ended with Man United 1-0 Southampton with both sides going inside for the break leaving the Red Devils with all the advantage they needed.

Second Half Report

The second half of the encounter from both sides were evenly balanced going forward and defending as they showed so much quality which saw just one goal being scored.

Southampton wasted no time in scoring the leveler in the 48th minute after entering for the second half which saw Che Adams beating David de Gea with a clinical finish which made the scoreline 1-1 with assistance from Elyounoussi.

It was more of the opportunities coming with nothing hitting the back of the net as Man United were back to square one looking to get the another goal that could have put them back in the lead going forward.

Man United Southampton Highlights

Cristiano Ronaldo could have made it a goal in the last few minutes of the second half but he wasn’t allowed the opportunity of making it count after a brilliant push going inside the Saints box.

The match ended with Man United 1-1 Southampton which saw both teams settling for one point each and Ralf Rangnick yet again another poor result after 90 minutes.
