The midfielder has signed a contract with Spurs until 2026 which will see him remain with them for a four years deal.
Rodrigo Bentancur is one amongst two signings coming in from Juventus to Tottenham this January window deadline day.
The move is subject to international clearance and a work permit just like Dejan Kulusevski who also signed today.

Tottenham is one amongst English Premier League teams who have been busy this January transfer window bringing in new players to join the ones they have.
Spurs are not just making moves, they also selling and loaning out their players with Dele Alli recently leaving them to Everton on a permanent deal.
Ndombele also completed a loan move to Olympic Lyon until end of the season which they are also working on other moves that could happen before deadline.
Rodrigo Bentancur will be on for his first appearance for Tottenham in their next game in February which Kulusevski is also expected to play.
Antonio Conte who has been struggling with results will now have the opportunity to turn things around after seeing some new faces being brought in.
