Man United BLOCK Jesse Lingard From Exit On Deadline Day (Full Details)
Manchester United won’t be allowing Jesse Lingard leave the club this January window, MySportDab reports.
The Red Devils won’t be looking to let the England International leave despite the player informing the club he does not want to stay.
Newcastle United and West Ham United already made their approach to get Jesse Lingard before the transfer window close.
But Manchester United has turned down any possible exit as they want to keep him with the club knowing his contract comes to an end this season.
Jesse Lingard has been struggling with him not getting regular playing time despite all the promises made to him before extending one year.
Others like Donny van de Beek and Amad Diallo already completed moves elsewhere leaving the England International who the club have refused to let go.
Fabrizio Romano confirmed the latest update coming from Old Trafford with transfer window just few hours away.
Here Is What He Said:
“Manchester United want to keep Jesse Lingard at the club.
“NO deal, NO chance. They’re not accepting Newcastle approaches, the position on club side is clear.
“Lingard’s disappointed as he wanted to go but club not open to negotiate with Newcastle or West Ham.
With the World Cup coming up this year, it is a doubt if the player will be making England squad if things continue the way it has been.
Last season the winger loan move to West Ham United revived his career as many interests came in but Manchester United turned them down.
Still Jesse Lingard has failed to get regular playing time which have seen him dropped further from the starting lineup list.
Although things might get better for him with Mason Greenwood currently axed from the team following abuse of his girlfriend which might see him face time behind bar.
