Chelsea and Liverpool played out a 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge in the English Premier League encounter, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

Four goals were scored by both teams in the first half of the encounter which wasn’t a joke as they both made sure all their efforts counted for something good going forward.

Sadio Mane scored the opening goal in the 9th minute as Liverpool took the lead after an error saw the Senegalese making the scoreline 0-1 from a clinical finish against his countryman.

Chelsea Vs Liverpool

Chelsea was poor despite dominating the ball possession which saw them being unable to make it count as they carried on with the encounter going down at their home ground.

Mohamed Salah made it 0-2 in the 26th minute after a good delivery from Trent Alexander Arnold saw the Red’s highest goal scorer making it count for them with a brilliant finish.

The game progressed with the Blues pushing but still couldn’t find a way back in the game as they approached the final few minutes left to be played in the first half.

It was looking like a lost fight until the 42nd minute which saw Mateo Kovacic netting one for his side to make things 1-2 after a clever finish from the Croatian giving his side a lifeline.

Christian Pulisic added another one in the 45th minute plus additional time which saw the scoreline quickly turned 2-2 as the Blues were then looking better than their opponent.

The first half of the encounter came to an end with Chelsea 2-2 Liverpool as they both went inside for the break with a draw scoreline after 45 minutes of football played.

Second Half Report

The second half was all about both teams creating back to back opportunities all through as they made sure it was a match filled with tension on both ends of the pitch.

Chelsea continued to dominate the ball possession moving well on the pitch but everything was just at no vial with every opportunity wasted.

Liverpool were the side dealing with the pressure but they also had some opportunities of their own which saw dealt with by Edouard Mendy.

Nothing changed as the match ended with Chelsea 2-2 Liverpool giving them one points each after 90 minutes of hostility at Stamford Bridge.
