The Blues have been looking for alternatives in case the likes of Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger decides to leave when the season comes to an end.

Many names have been drawn up including Jules Kounde who could also be a player that will make a move happen anytime soon with possible deadline switch.

Although the Netherlands International is one of their top priority only if his club will allow him make that move that has been long waiting to happen.

Chelsea have been linked with Dutch defender Matthijs de Ligt for some time and could see a transfer door swing open this summer, according to claims reaching us from Calciomercato.

Juventus may open themselves up to offers for the Netherlands international who could add so much firepower at their defense ahead of next season.

Those at Stamford Bridge will require reinforcements as Antonio Rudiger, Andreas Christensen and Cesar Azpilicueta head towards free agency.

Niklas Sule is also another candidate who they could sign for free when the summer window opens as the player just confirmed he won’t extend his contract.

It won’t be an easy one as other clubs also registered their interest on the Bayern Munich man who is set to make a move elsewhere.

Matthijs de Ligt still remains their key target who they hope to strike a deal ahead of the summer with January window already close and nothing could happen even if talks open.
