Barcelona President have been talking tough with the transfer window which also concerns Erling Haaland, MySportDab reports.

Many clubs have been linked with a move for the Borussia Dortmund striker who has been on exceptional form since joining from RB Salzburg.

Joan Laporta has been getting the job done with their first deal signing Ferran Torres from Manchester City while Alvaro Morata’s move is almost done.

Barcelona are working on rebuilding their team after Lionel Messi left them for Paris Saint Germain during the summer window last year 2021.

The President of the club granted an interview where he confirmed the possibility of Erling Haaland joining them ahead of next season.

Here Is What Was Said:

When Joan Laporta was asked about chances of Erling Haaland move to Barcelona he said;

“We are working to build a top team. Everything can be possible if we do things well. And I’m sure we will.

“Top players are open to join Barcelona. We are definitely recovering our status.

This won’t be an easy one for Barcelona if they are to win the race to sign Erling Haaland ahead of other clubs.

Manchester United current interim manager Ralf Rangnick claimed there is a clause which could see the Premier League side sign him.

Although the claims has been rubbished just like the one claiming Real Madrid already reached an agreement with Mino Raiola for a move.

Chelsea, Liverpool, Paris Saint Germain and others are still equally in the race with the player yet to make a decision on his next move elsewhere.

The deal could have been completed last summer with Chelsea who offered €100 million plus to sign Erling Haaland only for Borussia Dortmund to turn down.

For now every team interested have equal chances of getting a deal done with possibility of it happening this January but official during the summer.
