Manchester United have now joined the race to sign Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger ahead of next season, MySportDab reports.

The defender is yet to reach an agreement for a new contract which will keep him at the club beyond the current season.

Rudiger have already turned down offers given to him by Chelsea as they weren’t good enough for him due to how he has been working hard.

The Blues are currently fighting a battle to keep him with a new deal that is beginning to look unlikely to happen.

According to report from Sky Deutschland, Manchester United are ready to join the race for Chelsea contract rebel Antonio Rudiger.

Real Madrid and Bayern Munich have been heavily linked with the Germany international defender who could be ending his stay with the Champions of Europe.

Although he may be presented with an opportunity to remain in England when his contract at Stamford Bridge expires with Manchester United now in the race.

Reports earlier yesterday suggested that the move to Bayern Munich looks impossible as the German side are not ready to pay him huge salary.

Antonio Rudiger is demanding for a €400k weekly wages which will make him the highest paid defender in the world and in Chelsea.

While some others are claiming his demands are €200k weekly, but the fact still remains that they are yet to reach an agreement for a new deal.

Manchester United are now hoping they could secure the signing of Antonio Rudiger who might be likely to remain in England.
