John Terry has finally made a return to Chelsea where will be taking a coaching job, MySportDab reports.

The former assistant manager at Aston Villa has been reported to be nearing a return to Stamford Bridge after leaving as a player.

It has now been confirmed by Chelsea that John Terry has now made his return to the club where he played all his football career.

The former defender has joined the Blues’ youth development programme after five years of calling in his playing career with them.

John Terry has returned to Chelsea to take up an academy coaching consultancy role to help develop their youth system.

“We are delighted to be welcoming John back to Cobham in a role that will involve coaching and mentoring the next generation of young players in our Academy.

“It goes without saying that John’s experience in the game, both as a world-class player and more recently as an assistant coach in the Premier League, will be invaluable for everyone in the building.

“He will be a great mentor for our players and a fantastic asset to our coaching staff. We can’t wait for him to get started.”

The Chelsea legend has now joined the host of other ex players who are currently working with the club behind the scene.

John Terry joins others such as Petr Cech, Ashley Cole, Claude Makelele, Carlo Cudicini and Paulo Ferreira who are all involves in one role of another with Chelsea.

The former defender has also been working on his coaching badge which he is likely done but yet to get his first job as a first team manager.

His decision to come back to Chelsea is one that would help the youth system which is already thriving.

John Terry is one amongst former players who made a return to clubs they played almost all their football career with.
