Raheem Sterling scored the only goal as Man City beat 10-man Wolves 1-0 to remain top of the Premier League table, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

An evenly balanced first half which was filled with drama so much tactical football between both teams.

Wolves had so much pressure on them as they started the encounter as the second best against their opponent who had so much room to operate.

Man City had everything going their way but couldn’t manage getting a goal despite all their attempts going forward against their opponent.

It was looking all cagey as they approached the final few minutes left to be played in the first half of the encounter which still a goalless scoreline.

Raul Jimenez was shown two yellow cards in quick succession in the 45th minute plus additional time which left his side with 10-man heading for the break.

The first half of the encounter ended with Man City 0-0 Wolves as they both headed inside for the break after 45 minutes of football played.

Second Half Report

The second half kicked off with Wolverhampton Wanderers left with so much work as they had one man down giving their opponent to advantage.

Man City pushed on with their dominance while their opponent had to result into defending and making sure they did not concede in the early minutes of the second half.

Wolves did well enough to continue the match holding on to the goalless scoreline despite all the pressure coming from the Premier League Champions.

Raheem Sterling gave his side the lead in the 66th minute after scoring from the penalty spot to make the scoreline 1-0 for the home team as it progressed.

That goal was the only action as both teams continued until the match ended with Man City 1-0 Wolves which saw the home side taking all three points in the bag.
