A brace from Gabriel Martinelli ensured Arsenal thrashed Leeds United to move 4th on the Premier League after 1-4 win, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

It was raining goals at Ellen Road in the first half of the encounter which saw the Gunners getting the job done as expected.

Leeds United were unable to keep up with the pace from their opponent which saw them paying for it as the game progressed further.

Arsenal had to wait until the 16th minute which saw Gabriel Martinelli scoring the opening goal to make the scoreline 0-1 from a beautiful finish.

Martinelli doubled his goal tally in the 28th minute making it a brace for him and a 0-2 scoreline which saw him working with Granit Xhaka who made the assist.

Things were looking smooth for Mikel Arteta and his players who continued dominating the game with hopes of scoring more to kill off the match.

Bukayo Saka increased the advantage in the 42nd minute making the scoreline 0-3 which was becoming a nightmare for the home team who couldn’t make anything happen.

The first half of the encounter ended with Arsenal taking a 3-0 advantage into the break against Leeds United who were very wasteful in all their dealings inside the 45 minutes.

Second Half Report

The second half was evenly balanced as both teams had something to celebrate about despite how the result looked after 90 minutes.

Arsenal continued with their dominance in the match which was clearly seen as they pushed further making things hard for their opponent who lost control.

Leeds United pulled one back in the 75th minute from the penalty spot thanks to Raphinha who made it count for the home side as the scoreline turned 1-3.

Emile Smith Rowe smashed one beating the goalkeeper in the 84th minute of the second half which was assisted by Martin Oedegaard to make it 1-4.

The match came to an end with Arsenal claiming all three points against Leeds United with a 1-4 result which saw them move into fourth position on the Premier League table.
