Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has finally confirmed decision about Connor Gallagher coming back to Stamford Bridge, MySportDab reports.
The Champions of Europe have been questioned so much if they will be bringing back their player during the January window which is just few weeks away.
Thomas Tuchel has come out to confirm his decision made by him and the club over Connor Gallagher’s return date which many have been calling for his comeback.
The midfielder has been on good form for Crystal Palace this season since joining from Chelsea on loan during the summer transfer window this year 2021.
Many clubs including Palace are hopeful and looking to force Chelsea into selling the player when his loan deal comes to an end after the 2021-22 campaign.
The Blues are not looking to sell the player and they also will not be calling him back in January as confirmed by the manager according to Fabrizio Romano.
Here Is What Was Said:
“Connor Gallagher won’t be recalled by Chelsea in January, he’s staying at Crystal Palace to respect the agreement.
Tuchel: “We Like Gallagher and how well he is doing. Nothing has changed – we see him all the time.
“There is absolutely no regret (About loaning him out).
Chelsea won’t bring him back knowing that they need his quality with their injury crisis going on with almost all their midfielder which isn’t looking good for them.
Connor Gallagher return will have to wait until the end of the season which he will get the chance of regular football at Stamford Bridge just like Mason Mount and Reece James.
The youngster has also made his international debut for the three lions of England this year and he will be hoping to make it to next year’s FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Another player who also won’t be coming back this January is Billy Gilmour who nothing was said meaning he will see out his loan move with Norwich City.
